PESB Recommends Amit Tandon as Director (Projects) of RVNL

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Amit Tandon for appointment as Director (Projects) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). The recommendation was made after interviews conducted by the PESB on October 11, 2025.

Amit Tandon is currently serving as Principal Executive Director (Metro) at RVNL. His name will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval, subject to vigilance clearance and completion of other procedural formalities.

The PESB interviewed a total of 10 candidates for the post. The candidates included:

7. Prem Prakash Srivastava, Senior General Manager (HR/A), UP (West) Circle, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited
8. Om Prakash Mishra, Executive Director (Community Development), Coal India Limited
9. Murari Lal Meena, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction/Road Safety Projects), North Western Railway, Ministry of Railways
10. Narinder Devraj Chumber, Director (Projects), Ministry of Railways.
