In a significant development on Tuesday (11.03.2025), Peeyush Jain (IRS-IT:1991), currently serving as Director General of Income Tax (Investigation), Ahmedabad, has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (OSD) at the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) with immediate effect.
Following his transfer, the charge of DGIT (Investigation), Ahmedabad, has been assigned to Sandip Pradhan (IRS-IT:1991), who currently holds the position of DGIT (Investigation), Pune.
