Parminder Chopra appointed as CMD, PFC

Parminder Chopra, who serves as the Director (Finance) of Power Finance Corporation (PFC), has been appointed by the central government as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the corporation. Her appointment to this role is effective until her superannuation date, which falls on April 30, 2027. In this role, she takes over from R S Dhillon. Parminder Chopra’s selection for the CMD position was recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on May 8, 2023.
