Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday (October 27, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for eight IAS officers, assigning new responsibilities across agriculture, health, urban development and other departments.
Dr Poma Tudu has been appointed Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha, with additional charge of Managing Director of the Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd. Shubham Saxena has been posted as Vice-Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), while Dr Gavali Parag Harshad has been appointed Managing Director of the National Health Mission (NHM).
The details of the officers and their new postings are as follows:
- Dr Poma Tudu (IAS:2012:OR), Additional Secretary in the ST&SC Development, M&BCW Department, with additional charge of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, and Managing Director, Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation of Odisha Ltd. (TDCCOL), has been transferred and posted as Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha, with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd.
- Sangram Keshari Mohapatra (IAS:2012:OR), RDC In-charge (Southern Division), Brahmapur, with additional charge of RDC In-charge (Northern Division), Sambalpur, and Chairman In-charge, Western Odisha Development Council (WODC), has been posted as RDC (Northern Division), Sambalpur, while retaining the additional charge of Chairman In-charge, WODC.
- Shubham Saxena (IAS:2013:OR), Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha, has been posted as Vice-Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).
- Dr Gavali Parag Harshad (IAS:2013:OR), who recently joined the state government following his repatriation from central deputation, has been posted as Managing Director of the National Health Mission (NHM).
- Vijay Amruta Kulange (IAS:2013:OR), Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AH&VS), with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (OMFED), has been posted as RDC (Southern Division), Brahmapur.
- Chakravarti Singh Rathore (IAS:2014:OR), Director of Technical Education and Training, has been given the additional charge of Director of Horticulture.
- Pranati Chhotray (IAS:2014:OR), Additional Secretary to the Government in the Home Department, has been posted as Managing Director of OMFED.
- Subra Kumar Panda (IAS:2015:OR), Director of Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Ltd.
