The Odisha government has appointed seven newly inducted IAS officers from the 2023 batch as Executive Officers for various municipalities across the state. The appointments are part of the officers’ district training program, ensuring they gain practical governance experience in urban local bodies (ULBs).
As per the notification issued by the Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department, Ms Ashni AL has been posted as the Executive Officer, Rairangpur Municipality of Mayurbhanj District with financial power for a period of three weeks that is from 27.10. 2024 to 17.11.2024.
Similarly, Ms Tejaswini Behera has been posted as the Executive Offier, Talcher Municipality of Angul district. Likewise, Abhishek Dilip was posted as the Jaleswar Municipality Executive Officer in Balasore district of Odisha.
Besides, Ms Pranita Dash was posted as the Executive Officer of Hinjilicut Municipality in Ganjam district while Ms Preksha Agrawal was posted as Anandpur Municipality’s Executive Officer in Keonjhar district.
The Executive Officers now working in the said ULBs shall continue as Additional Executive Officers during the district training period of the above mentioned IAS probationers.
