The Odisha government on Friday (02.05.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for three IPS officers. Senior officer Susanta Kumar Nath, who recently returned from central deputation, has been appointed as Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- Susanta Kumar Nath (IPS:1993:OR), who joined the Home Department after repatriation from the Government of India, has been posted as the DGP, Prisons & Correctional Services.
- Dayal Gangwar (IPS:1998:OR), ADGP at the Police State Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Communication.
- Prateek Mohanty (IPS:2000:OR), who joined the Home Department after repatriation from the Government of India, has been appointed as ADGP, Headquarters.
