The Odisha government on Wednesday modified the transfer of senior IAS officer Madhu Sudan Padhi (IAS:1991:OR) by appointing him as Principal Secretary, Commerce and Transport with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Land Records & Settlement.
Padhi replaces Pramod Meherda, the 1997-batch IAS officer, who has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Odisha Governor.
Padhi, who was the Principal Secretary to the Odisha Governor, was posted as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Land Records & Settlement as per an earlier notification by the General Administration Department on February 29.
