Odisha : Former IPS officer Dr Satyajit Mohanty takes VRS, joins as OPSC Chief

Former IPS officer Dr Satyajit Mohanty (Retd.IPS:1988:OR) assumed charge as new Chairman of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Monday.

Mohanty had resigned from the police service under the voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) on Sunday after a 33-year-long career as a distinguished cop. Prior to his voluntary retirement from the service, he was serving as the Director General of Fire Services.
