Odisha: Five IPS officers shifted

The Odisha government on Tuesday (31.10.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Arun Kumar Ray (IPS:1988:OR), OSD, Home Department, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Director, Printing, Stationery and Publication, Cuttack.
2. A M Prasad (IPS:1989:OR), Spl. DGP, HRPC, has been transferred and posted as DG of Prisons, Director Correctional Services, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
3. Lalit Das (IPS:1992:OR), Director, Printing, Stationery and Publication, Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Addl. DGP, HRPC, Odisha, Cuttack.
4. Umashankar Dash (IPS:2008:OR), Addl. CP, Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as DIG, SIW, Bhubaneswar.
5. Brijesh Kumar Rai (IPS:2009:OR), DIG, State Police Hqrs., Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Addl. CP, Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.
