The Odisha government has nominated senior IAS officers as Secretary In Charge of 16 identified districts coming under the Aspirational Districts and Block Programme.

The Odisha government has nominated senior IAS officers as Secretary In Charge of 16 identified districts coming under the Aspirational Districts and Block Programme.

According to a notification, the following Secretary Level Officers of the state have been nominated as Secretary-in-Charge in respect of 16 identified districts under the Aspirational Districts (ADP) and Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP) of NITI Aayog to review the progress of the districts under the above programmes:

  1. Hemant Sharma (IAS:1995:OR), Principal Secretary, Industries, MSME and Energy, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Keonjhar District.
  2. Sushil Kumar Lohani (IAS:1995:OR), Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Kalahandi.
  3. Bishnupada Sethi (IAS:1995:OR), Principal Secretary, Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department, Odia Literature & Culture, ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Malkangiri.
  4. Chithra Arumugam (IAS:1995:OR), Principal Secretary, Science & Technology, Labour & Employee’s State Insurance and Special Secretary, Planning & Convergence, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Koraput.
  5. Saswat Mishra (IAS:1996:OR), Principal Secretary, Finance, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Bargarh.
  6. Usha Padhee (IAS:1996:OR), Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development, Commerce and Transport Department, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Kandhamal.
  7. Vir Vikram Yadav (IAS:1996:OR), Principal Secretary, Works, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Balangir.
  8. Vishal Kumar Dev (IAS:1996:OR), Principal Secretary, Electronics & Information Technology, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Nuapada.
  9. Sanjay Kumar Singh (IAS:1997:OR), Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Information & Public relations, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge, Mayurbhanj.
  10. Shubha Sarma (IAS:1999:OR), Principal Secretary, Women & Child Development, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Gajapati.
  11. Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma (IAS:1999:OR), Principal Secretary, Sports & Youth Services, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Nabarangpur.
  12. Shalini Pandit (IAS:2001:OR), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Social & Mass Education and Mission Shakti, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Raygada.
  13. Aswathy S (IAS:2003:OR), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Sundargarh.
  14. Aravind Agrawal (IAS:2007:OR), Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Higher Education, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Sambalpur.
  15. Dr. N Thirumala Naik (IAS:2009:OR), Vice-Chairman, BDA, Housing & Urban Development, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Nayagarh.
  16. Sudhansu Mohan Samal (IAS:2010:OR), Additional Secretary, Water Resources, has been nominated as Secretary In Charge of Dhenkanal.
