Odisha : 16 IPS officers shifted ; M Akhaya gets posting after return from central deputation

The Odisha government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of 16 IPS officers in the state. Senior IPS officer M Akhaya (IPS:1988:OR), who has returned from Central deputation, has been posted as CMD, POH&WC.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

2. Satyajit Mohanty (IPS:1988:OR) : DG, FS&CG,HG.
3. Lalit Das (IPS:1992:OR) : ADGP, Communication.
4. RK Sharma (IPS:1995:OR) : Director, Intelligence.
5. SK Priyadarshi (IPS:1995:OR) : ADGP, CID CB.
6. Praveen Kumar (IPS:2002:OR) : IGP, Law & Order.
7. Anup Kumar Sahoo (IPS:2006:OR) : DIG, Intelligence.
8. Dr Sarthak Sarangi (IPS:2007:OR) : SP, CID CB.
9. Dr Umashankar Dash (IPS:2008:OR) : DCP, Bhubaneswar.
10. Akhilesvar Singh (IPS:2009:OR) : SP, Puri.
