The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Managing Director, HSCC (I) at a selection meeting held on October 25, 2021. The PESB interviewed ten candidates for the job following which it announced that the administrative ministry/department might choose an appropriate course of action for selection including search cum selection committee (SCSC)

- Rajasekar T, Director(Marketing), HLL Lifecare Ltd.
- R Vijay Garg, Executive Director, Indian Railways Service of Engineers
