The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Director (Project), NBCC (India) Limited at a selection meeting held on July 07, 2021. The PESB interviewed eight candidates for the job following which it announced that the administrative ministry/department might choose an appropriate course of action for selection including search cum selection committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent Authority.

- Prem Prakash Srivastava, Chief Engineer, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)
- Ranjit Kumar Singh, Vice President, Quality Audit & Cost Monitoring, M/s Dilip Buildcon Ltd.
