The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find a suitable candidate for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) at a selection meeting held on June 03, 2024. The PESB interviewed two candidates for the job following which it recommended the Ministry of Mines to take an appropriate course of action for selection including the search cum selection committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent authority.
During the selection meeting, the following three candidates were interviewed:
- Rakesh Tumane, Director (Finance), Moil Limited
- S Sakthimani, Director (Finance) Director (finance), The Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Limited (Fact)
- Prem Prakash Srivastava, Senior General Manager Senior General Manager (HR/A) UP(West)
