None selected for IRCTC CMD post, PESB constitutes SCSC

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), India Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) at meeting held on May 17, 2021. The PESB interviewed four candidates for the job following which it announced that it would constitute a Search cum selection committee (SCSC) to select the new CMD.

The following 04 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :

1. Rajni Hasija, Director (Tourism & Marketing), Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)
2. Sunil Kumar, Group General Manager, Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)
3. Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commercial & Marketing), India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC)
4. Ajay Kumar Singhal, Principal Executive Director, Indian Railways Service of Engineers

The CMD post fell vacant after the retirement of Mahendra Pratap Mall (IRAS:1984) in January this year.
