The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find suitable candidate for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), India Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) at meeting held on May 17, 2021. The PESB interviewed four candidates for the job following which it announced that it would constitute a Search cum selection committee (SCSC) to select the new CMD.
The following 04 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :
- Rajni Hasija, Director (Tourism & Marketing), Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)
- Sunil Kumar, Group General Manager, Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)
- Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commercial & Marketing), India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC)
- Ajay Kumar Singhal, Principal Executive Director, Indian Railways Service of Engineers
The CMD post fell vacant after the retirement of Mahendra Pratap Mall (IRAS:1984) in January this year.
