Nitin Deep Blaggan (IPS:2003:RJ) has been appointed to the post of Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). According to an order by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (20.02.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Blaggan to the post on deputation basis from the date of assumption of charge to the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 08.10.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
