The central deputation tenure of Niranjan Lal (IOFS:1998) as Director in the Department of Fertilizers has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (12.08.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Fertilizers to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Lal for a period of one year beyond 16.07.2023 and upto 16.07.2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
