The central deputation tenure of Niranjan Chandrashekhar Cheriyamane (IRS:C&CE:2008) as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (11.09.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Cabinet Secretariat to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Cheriyamane as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat for two years beyond 07.11.2024 and upto 07.11.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
