Nipun Pande re-designated as Director in M/o Textiles

Nipun Pande (IRSEE:2011), currently serving as Joint Development Commissioner (Deputy Secretary level) in the O/o Development Commissioner for Handlooms under the M/o Textiles, has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (08.01.2025), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate Pande’s post to Director level with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to November 12, 2028 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under central staffing scheme.

It is noteworthy that Nipun Pande began his central deputation tenure on November 13, 2023.
