The Narendra Modi Goverment has appointed 09 Chief Vigilance officers (CVOs) in various PSUs and organisation.
1. Giriraj Garg (ITS:1997), has been appointed as CVO, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi under the Department of School Education and Literacy for an initial period of 3 years.
2. Hemant Kumar Ratilal Patel (ITS:2000) has been appointed as CVO, Cotton Corporation of India (CCI), Mumbai under the Ministry of Textiles for an initial period of 3 years.
3. Vijaya Dat Kagita (IOFS:1996) has been appointed as CVO, Mormugao Port Trust (MPT), Goa under the Ministry of Shippping for a period of 3 years.
4. K. Rajendra, Chief Manager, PGCIL-1988, has been appointed as CVO, Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Kochi under the Ministry of Shipping for a period of 3 years.
5. Venkateswarlu Tirupati Josyula (IPoS:1994) has been appointed as CVO, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (CPCL), Chennai under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for a period of 3 years.
6. Mahesh Chandra (IRSS:1988) has been appointed as CVO, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDSL), Mumbai under the Department of Defence for a period of 3 years.
7. Ms. Arti Chhabra Srivastava (IOFS:1990) has been appointed as CVO, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai under the Department of Economic Affairs for a period of 3 years.
8. Ms. Garima Bhagat (IRS-IT:1996) has been appointed to the post of CVO, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Delhi under the Minister of Labour & Employment on lateral shift basis for a period up to July 1, 2019 extendeble upto July 1, 2021. She is presently working as CVO, Project and Equipment Corporation Limited (PEC), Delhi.
9. S.S. Pendharkar (IDAS:1990) has been appointed as CVO, Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL), Navi Mumbai under the Ministry of Railways on lateral shift basis upto March 15, 2021 extendable upto March 15, 2022. He is presently working as CVO, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL).
