Senior IPS officer Nina Singh (IPS:1989:RJ) on Sunday appointed as the first woman officer in the state to assume the DG rank. Earlier, she served as Additional Director General (ADG) in the state police. Last year, she received Ati Utkrisht Sevathe by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for professional excellence.
She has also served as Joint Director with CBI and has worked on various important cases including the PNB scam and Nirav Modi.
