Niladri Roy is set to be new Director(Technical), Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL). Roy’s name has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday (12.10.2022). He is currently serving as Executive Director, Coal India Limited (CIL).
He will be appointed to the post of Director(Technical) after receiving vigilance clearances and an approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

- Binay Kumar, Additional General Manager, NTPC Limited
- Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Deputy General Manager, NMDC Limited
- Bhanwer Lal Dudi, Associate vice president, Barmer Lignite Mining Company Limited
