NIA IG Gyanendra Kumar Verma laterally shifted to CRPF

Gyanendra Kumar Verma (IPS:2001:SK), Inspector General (IG), National Investigation Agency (NIA), has been laterally shifted to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) as IG. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr Verma to the post of IG, CRPF on lateral shift basis from the date of joining the post and up to 26.01.2025 i.e. his balance deputation tenure or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
