Navendra Singh (ITS:1999) will continue as the Director of the Ministry of Women & Child Development for an additional two years. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Saturday, August 12, 2023, confirming the extension. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of Mr. Singh’s deputation tenure beyond July 16, 2023 and upto July 16, 2025 or until further orders, whichever comes first.
