Nasir Kamal (IPS:1986:UP), presently working as Spl. DG, BSF, has been appointed as Director, National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS) by temporarily upgrading the post from ADG level to DG level. Kamal replaces S Javeed Ahmed (IAS:1984:UP) as DG, NICFS, who repatriated to cadre state (Uttar Pradesh).
