Nageshwara Rao Guntur has been appointed as Chairperson, Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) for a period of three years. Guntur is the chairman, Project Design Safety Committee, Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor and former distinguished scientist Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd.
