Nagaland Chief Secretary Temjen Toy (IAS:1989:NL) passed away on January 28 in Kohima after a long battle with cancer. He was 57 years old.
Toy was suffering from liver cancer and has been undergoing treatment at a Delhi hospital. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
Toy took charge as Nagaland chief secretary in March 2018.
