A senior woman IAS, posted as a secretary in Mantralaya, has been hospitalized after testing positive for coronavirus. She was a member of the task force on Covid-19.
According to a senior official “She is still asymptomatic but since she was on the field and considering the possibility of having been exposed to someone who was infected, it was decided to get her tested.”
Following this, several Mantralaya officials are now going for self-quarantine.
On 27 April, four housekeeping staff had tested positive, after which the Mantralaya and new administrative building was disinfected on April 29 and 30.
