An IPS officer and 12 other police personnel tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday in Mumbai.
The 12 police personnel, all from the JJ Marg Police station, include six officers and as many constables. Besides this, six other police officers, who were in contact with the positive personnel, and 40 constables have been quarantined.
Sources said that the zonal DCP, who was tested positive for the infection, has been home quqrqntined. He had been supervising a coronavirus hotspot in the city.
