IA&AS officer Mrinal Chawla (IA&AS:2014), who was recommended for central deputation by the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, has been selected for appointment as as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Delhi, for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (28.05.2025), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr Chawla to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
