Mr. Som Kamei appointed Planning Adviser, NEC Shillong

Mr. Som Kamei (IPoS:1998) has been appointed as the Planning Adviser (JS level), North Eastern Council Secretariat (NEC), Shillong. According to an order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday, November 20, 2023, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has endorsed Mr. Kamei’s appointment to the position for a tenure of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He will succeed Calvin Harris Kharshiling (IA&AS:1991)
