Prior to the declaration of assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the state government effected a modest restructuring of the bureaucracy by releasing transfer orders for six IAS officers.
The officers and their new assignments are as follows:
- Babu Singh Jamod (IAS:2006:MP), Secretary, Tribal Cell, Rajbhawan, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Planning, Economics and Statistics and Member Secretary, State Planning Commission, Bhopal.
- Sanjay Gupta (IAS:2007:MP), MD, MP State Agro Industries Development Corporation, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, General Administration Department.
- Dilip Kumar (IAS:2008:MP), Additional Secretary, PWD, has been transferred and posted as MD, MP State Agro Industries Development Corporation.
- Amarpal Singh (IAS:2009:MP), Additional Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Tribal Cell, Rajbhawan, Bhopal.
- Sanjana Jain (IAS:2016:MP), Deputy Secretary, PHED, has been transferred and posted as Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
- Frank Noble A (IAS:2013:MP), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bhopal and Additional MD, Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Company (Limited), has been given additional charge of the post of CEO, Smart City, Bhopal.
