Senior IPS officer MP Gupta (IPS:1995:AM) took charge as the Inspector General (IG) of Border Security Force’s (BSF) Tripura Frontier. Gupta was given a guard of honour after he took charge on Wednesday.
Gupta was posted as Joint Director of Border Security Force Academy at Takenpur in Madhya Pradesh in his last assignment. The Northeastern states of Tripura has an 856 km border with Bangladesh.
