MP: 6 IAS officers shifted; 4 get new roles, 2 given additional charge

The Madhya Pradesh government on Tuesday (July 1, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Out of these, four officers have been assigned new postings, while two have been entrusted with additional charges.

The name of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Sanjeev Kumar Jha (IAS:1996:MP), Member, Revenue Board, Gwalior, has been transferred and posted Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Madhya Pradesh and Ex-officio, Law and Legislative Affairs Department (Only Election Related Work).
2. Sukhbir Singh (IAS:1997:MP), Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Madhya Pradesh and Ex-officio, Law and Legislative Affairs Department (Only Election Related Work), has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, PWD.
3. Raghuraj M R (IAS:2004:MP), Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Labour Department.
4. Anil Suchari (IAS:2006:MP), Secretary, GAD, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Sagar Division, Sagar.
5. Mukesh Chand Gupta (IAS:1998:MP), Secretary, MP Human Rights Commission, Bhopal, has been given additional charge of Member, Revenue Board, Gwalior.
6. Vivek Kumar Porwal (IAS:2000:MP), Principal Secretary, Revenue Department and Relief Commissioner and Rehabilitation Commissioner, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department.
