MP: 5 SPs among 10 IPS officers shifted, Rajesh Hingankar posted as OSD to CM

The Madhya Pradesh government on Tuesday (19.02.2024) issued transfer and posting orders affecting 10 IPS officers, including Superintendents of Police in five districts. Additionally, officers at the IG and DIG levels have undergone reassignments. Notably, IPS officer Rajesh Kumar Hingankar has been appointed as an Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister.

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

1. KP Venkateshwar Rao (IPS:1995:MP), ADGP, Rewa Range, Rewa, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Narcotics, PHQ, Bhopal.
2. M S Sikarwar (IPS:2003:MP), IGP, Rail, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Rewa Range, Rewa.
3. Rajesh Kumar Hingankar (IPS:2006:MP), IGP/ DIGP, Rural Range, Indore, has been transferred and posted as OSD to Chief Minister.
4. Anshuman Singh (IPS:2006:MP), OSD to Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Law & Order/Security, PHQ, Bhopal.
5. Arvind Kumar Saxena (IPS:2006:MP), IGP, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Gwalior Zone, Gwalior.
6. Agam Jain (IPS:2016:MP), SP, Jhabua, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 25th Battalion, SAF, Bhopal.
7. Ankit Jaiswal (IPS:2017:MP), SP, Niwari, has been transferred and posted as SP, Nimach.
8. Nishchal Jharia (IPS), Commandant, 25th Battalion, SAF, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as SP, Betul.
9. Manish Khatri (IPS), Assistant IG, PHQ, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as SP, Chhindwara.
10. Padma Vilochan Shukla (IPS), DCP (Traffic), City Police, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as SP, Jhabua.
