MP: 26 IAS officers shifted; two Principal Secretaries to CM assigned new roles

The Madhya Pradesh government on Monday (11.11.2024) effected major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state bureaucracy by issuing transfer orders for 26 IAS officers. Notably, Sanjay Shukla and Raghvendra Kumar Singh, who were serving as Principal Secretaries in the Chief Minister’s Office, have been moved out and assigned other key roles.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Manu Shrivastava (IAS:1991:MP), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Energy; Additional Chief Secretary, New and Renewable Energy and Commissioner, New and Renewable Energy, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, New and Renewable Energy and Commissioner, New and Renewable Energy with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs.
2. Neeraj Mandloi (IAS:1993:MP), Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department with additional charge of MD, MP Power Management Company Limited, Jabalpur.
3. Sanjay Shukla (IAS:1994:MP), Principal Secretary (PS), Chief Minister; Principal Secretary, Women and Child Development; Principal Secretary, Planning, Economics & Statistics; Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Mineral Resources Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing; Principal Secretary, Planning, Economics & Statistics and Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation with additional charge of Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, Bhopal.
4. Umakant Umrao (IAS:1996:MP), Principal Secretary, Labour, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Mineral Resources; Principal Secretary, Labour; Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and MD, MP Mineral Corporation with additional charge of Director, Administration & Mining, Director, Directorate of Geology and Mining.
5. Raghvendra Kumar Singh (IAS:1997:MP), Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Principal Secretary, Public Service Management with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion Department , has been transferred and posted Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and Principal Secretary, MSME with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Anand Department.
6. Gulshan Bamra (IAS:1997:MP), Principal Secretary, Environment and Environment Commissioner with additional charge of DG, EPCO, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department.
7. E Ramesh Kumar (IAS:1999:MP), Principal Secretary, Tribal Affairs; Principal Secretary, SC Welfare and Commissioner, Tribal Development with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Scheduled Caste Welfare Department.
8. Navneet Kothari (IAS:2001:MP), Secretary, MSME and Commissioner, Industry with additional charge of MD, Small Industries Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Environment and Environment Commissioner with additional charge of DG, EPCO.
9. Sriman Shukla (IAS:2007:MP), Commissioner, Shahdol, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Tribal Development.
10. Madan Vibbhishan Nagargoje (IAS:2007:MP), Member, Revenue Board, Gwalior, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Handicrafts and Handlooms with additional charge of MD, Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation.
11. Surbhi Gupta (IAS:2008:MP), Secretary, Medical Education with additional charge of MP, AIDS Control Society, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Shahdol.
12. Dilip Kumar (IAS:2008:MP), Managing Director, MP State Agro Industries Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Industry with additional charge of MD, Small Industries Corporation.
13. Priyanka Das (IAS:2009:MP), Mission Director, National Health Mission, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, MSME.
14. Priti Maithil (IAS:2009:MP), Additional Secretary, Labour Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Horticulture and Food Processing with additional charge of OSD-cum-Additional Director, Horticulture and Food Processing.
15. Manish Singh (IAS:2009:MP), Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Transport and MD, MP State Road Transport Corporation with additional charge of CEO, Inter State Transport Authority.
16. Anurag Choudhary (IAS:2010:MP), Managing Director, State Mining Corporation and ex-officio, Mineral Resources with additional charge of Director, Administration & Mining, Director, Directorate of Geology and Mining, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, OBC and Minorities Welfare.
17. Mohit Bundas (IAS:2011:MP), MD, Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation; Commissioner, Handicrafts and Handlooms and Commissioner, Silk with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Forest Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Silk with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Forest Department.
18. Manoj Pusp (IAS:2011:MP), Director, Panchayat Raj with additional charge of CEO, MP State Rural Livelihood Mission, has been transferred and posted as OSD-cum-Commissioner-cum Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
19. Gautam Singh (IAS:2011:MP), Mission Director, MP Skill Development Project and ex-officio Additional Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment and CEO, MP Skill Development and Employment Generation Board with additional charge of Director, Employment, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Revenue.
20. Girish Sharma (IAS:2011:MP), Additional Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Public Service Management Department, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, MP State Skill Development Project, Additional Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment and CEO, MP Skill Development and Employment Generation Board with additional charge of Director, Employment.

Dr. Pankaj Jain (IAS:2012:MP), MD, Public Health Services Corporation Limited with additional charge of Additional Commissioner, Medical Education, has been transferred and posted as MD, MP Building Development Corporation with additional charge Member Secretary, MP Pollution Control Board, Bhopal.
22. Nidhi Nivedita (IAS:2012:MP), MD, Women’s Finance Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as MD, Fisheries Federation with additional charge of Deputy Secretary, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Department.

24. Uma Maheshwari R (IAS:2013:MP), Additional Mission Director, State Education Centre, has been transferred and posted as OSD-cum-Commissioner-cum-Director, Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy with additional charge of Executive Director, EPCO.

Dr. Saloni Sidana (IAS:2014:MP), CEO-cum-Commissioner-cum-Director, Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy with additional charge of Executive Director, EPCO, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, National Health Mission with additional charge of MD, MP Public Health Services Corporation Limited.
26. Suchismita Saxena (IAS:2016:MP), Deputy Secretary, Revenue, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Public Health & Medical Education with additional charge of Director, MP State AIDS Control Society.
