MP: 18 IAS officers get new assignments; three assume additional charge, eleven relieved

The Madhya Pradesh government on Sunday (28.01.2024) announced new postings for 18 IAS officers, leading to a significant restructuring of departmental assignments. Among the changes, three IAS officers have assumed additional responsibilities, while 11 others have been relieved of their current charges, which have now been allocated among the 18 IAS officers.”

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Manu Shrivastava (IAS:1991:MP), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment and ACS, Collage & Rural Industries, has been transferred and posted as ACS, Energy Department, ACS, New & Renewable Energy Department, and Commissioner, New & Renewable Energy with additional charges of ACS, Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment and ACS, Collage & Rural Industries.
2. Sanjay Kumar Shukla (IAS:1994:MP), Principal Secretary, PHED, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Governor.
3. Manish Rastogi (IAS:1994:MP), Principal Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Jail Department.
4. D P Ahuja (IAS:1996:MP), Principal Secretary, Governor, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, PWD.
5. Sukhveer Singh (IAS:1996:MP), Principal Secretary, PWD with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Horticulture & Food Processing, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Horticulture & Food Processing.
6. Dr. E Ramesh Kumar (IAS:1999:MP), OSD-cum-Commissioner, Social Justice & Disabled Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Tribal Work, Principal Secretary, Scheduled Castes Welfare, Principal Secretary, Religious Trust & Endowment, Commissioner, Trible Development and Commissioner, Scheduled Castes Development (Additional Charge).
7. Nishant Warwade (IAS:2003:MP), waiting for posting, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Higher Education.
8. Sanjeev Singh (IAS:2005:MP), Commissioner, Tribal Development and Commissioner, Scheduled Caste Development, Bhopal with additional charge of ex-officio Secretary, Tribal Work Department, has been transferred and posted as Executive Director, EPCO.
9. Dr. Ram Rao Bhonsle (IAS:2007:MP), Commissioner, Women & Child Development and ex-officio Mission Director, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Child Health and Nutrition Mission, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Social Justice & Disabled Welfare.
10. Sufiyah Faruqui Wali (IAS:2009:MP), MD, Handicrafts & Handloom Development Corporation, MD, MP Khadi and Rural Industries Board with additional charge of Commissioner, Handicrafts & Handloom Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as OSD-cum-Commissioner, Women & Child Development and ex-officio MD, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Child Health and Nutrition Mission.
11. Manish Singh (IAS:2009:MP), Additional Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as Registrar, MP State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
12. Tarun Rathi (IAS:2010:MP), Additional Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as Director, Water & Land Management Institute, Bhopal.
13. Saurabh Kumar Suman (IAS:2011:MP), Additional Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as OSD-cum-Commissioner, Director, Backward Classes & Minorities Welfare.
14. Mohit Bundas (IAS:2011:MP), Additional Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as MD, Handicrafts & Handloom Development Corporation and MD, Khadi & Rural Development Board with additional charge Commissioner, Handicrafts & Handloom Development Corporation.
15. Nidhi Nivedita (IAS:2012:MP), Director, Horticulture & Food Processing, has been transferred and posted as MD, Women Finance & Development Corporation.
16. Kumar Purushottam (IAS:2012:MP), Deputy Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Backward Classes & Minorities Welfare.
17. Neeraj Kumar Vashishtha (IAS:2013:MP), Deputy Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as Director, Nomadic and Semi-nomadic Tribes Department.
18. Kishore Kumar Kanyal (IAS:2013:MP), Deputy Secretary, MP Administration, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Forest Deptt.

The following three IAS officers have been given additional charges:

1. S N Mishra (IAS:1990:MP), Agriculture Production Commissioner, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Deptt.
2. Malay Shrivastava (IAS:1990:MP), Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development and Development Commissioner, has been given additional charge of ACS, PHED.
3. M Selvendran (IAS:2002:MP), Inspector General of Registration & SP, Stamp, with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Director, Farmers’ Welfare and Agriculture Development and ex-officio, Revenue Department, has been given additional charge of Director, Horticulture and Food Processing.

Additionally, Eleven IAS officers have relieved of the charges which are alloted to 18 IAS officers.
