MP: 14 IAS officers shifted in three days

In a move aimed at restructuring the state’s bureaucratic framework, the Madhya Pradesh government issued transfer and posting orders for 7 IAS officers on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

The officers and their new assignments are as follows:

1. Siddharth Jain (IAS:2018:MP), CEO of Zila Panchayat, Tikamgarh, has been transferred and posted as CEO of Zila Panchayat, Indore.
2. Naveet Kumar Dhurve (IAS:2018:MP), Deputy Secretary at the MP Secretariat, has been appointed as CEO of Zila Panchayat, Tikamgarh.
3. Vandana Sharma (IAS:2018:MP), CEO of Zila Panchayat, Indore, is now the Deputy Secretary at the MP Secretariat.
4. Prakhar Singh (IAS:2020:MP), SDM of Dabra in Gwalior District, has been reassigned as SDM of Rajnagar, Chhatarpur.
5. Himanshu Chandra (IAS:2015:MP), CEO of Zila Panchayat, Shahdol, has been transferred and posted as MP Secretariat.
6. Gaurav Benal (IAS:2016:MP), CEO of Smart City, Bhopal, is now the Additional Collector in Indore.
7. Rajesh Kumar Jain (IAS:2005:MP), Additional Director at NHDC, Khandwa, is the new CEO of Zila Panchayat, Shahdol.

Additionally, in the preceding two days, the government had transferred 7 more IAS officers and assigned them new roles, including:

1. Rajiv Sharma (IAS:2003:MP), Commissioner of Shahdol Division, is now the Secretary of the MP Secretariat.
2. Anil Suchari (IAS:2006:MP), Commissioner of Rewa Division, has been given an additional charge as Commissioner of Shahdol Division.
3. Harsh Singh (IAS:2015:MP), Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Gwalior, has assumed an additional role as CEO of Gwalior Development Authority, Gwalior.
4. Rani Batad (IAS:2014:MP), Additional Commissioner (Revenue) in Shahdol Division, is now the Collector of Maihar.
5. Ajay Dev Sharma (IAS:2014:MP), CEO of Zila Panchayat, Ujjain, is now the Collector of Pandurna.
6. Mrinal Meena (IAS:2015:MP), Additional Collector in Ujjain, has become the CEO of Zila Panchayat, Ujjain.
7. Priti Yadav (IAS:2016:MP), Deputy Secretary at the MP Secretariat, has been posted as Additional Collector in Ujjain
