MP: 12 IAS officers shifted; Amit Rathore’s transfer order cancelled

In just 24 hours, the Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday (21.08.2024) implemented another bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 12 IAS officers and assigning additional responsibilities to three others. Notably, the transfer orders for Amit Rathore, issued on August 20, were cancelled, and he will remain in his current department.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Sanjay Dubey (IAS:1993:MP), Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, GAD and Legal and Vigilance Cell, Principal Secretary (Co-ordination), Chief Secretary Office with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department.
2. Manish Rastogi (IAS:1994:MP), Principal Secretary, GAD and Legal and Vigilance Cell, Principal Secretary (Co-ordination), Chief Secretary Office with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Jail, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Finance Department.
3. Dr Ilayaraja T (IAS:2009:MP), MD, MP Tourism Development Corporation with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Tourism Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charges of MD, MP Tourism Development Corporation and Additional Secretary, Tourism Department.
4. Manish Singh (IAS:2009:MP), Registrar, Madhya Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Building Housing & Infrastructure Development Board, Bhopal.
5. Rakhi Sahay (IAS:2015:MP), Deputy Secretary, MP Public Service Commission, Indore, has been transferred and posted as MD, Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore.
6. Ashish Tiwari (IAS:2016:MP), CEO, Zila Panchayat, Sehore, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Water Resources Department.
7. Jayati Singh (IAS:2016:MP), CEO, Zila Panchayat, Jabalpur, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Zila Panchayat, Ujjain.
8. Kirti Khurasiya (IAS:2016:MP), Regional Director, Civil Supplies Corporation, Indore, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, MP Public Service Commission, Indore.
9. Rahul Namdev Dhote (IAS:2017:MP), CEO, Zila Panchayat, Sidhi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Narmada Valley Development Department.
10. Dr. Yogesh Tukaram Bharsat (IAS:2017:MP), CEO, Zila Panchayat, Vidisha, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Ayushman Bharat.
11. Dr. Saurabh Sanjay Sonawane (IAS:2017:MP), CEO, Zila Panchayat, Rewa with additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Rewa, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Rewa.
12. Guru Prasad (IAS:2017:MP), CEO, Zila Panchayat, Neemach, has been transferred and posted as MD, State Wide Area Network (SWAN), Bhopal with additional charge of Director, State Computer Security Incident Response Team (SCSIRT).

Additionally, three IAS officers assigned additional charges and transfer order of Amit Rathore has been cancelled.

1. SN Mishra (IAS:1990:MP), Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Jail Department.
2. Sheo Shekhar Shukla (IAS:1994:MP), Principal Secretary, Culture Department & Tourism Department and Commissioner-cum-Director, Swaraj Sansthan and Trustee Secretary, Bharat Bhawan and OSD-cum-Commissioner, Tourism and MD, MP Tourism Development Board, Bhopal, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Department of Religious trusts & Endowments.
3. Shobhit Jain (IAS:2000:MP), Member Secretary, MP State Food Commission, Bhopal, has been given additional charge of Registrar, Madhya Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bhopal.

The transfer order of Amit Rathore (IAS:1996:MP) has been cancelled. He will continue in his current role as Principal Secretary, Commercial Tax Department, with the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Cottage and Rural Industries. Notably, just a day earlier, he had been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Finance Department, along with the additional charges of Principal Secretary, Commercial Tax Department, and Principal Secretary, Cottage and Rural Industries.
