MP: 12 Collectors among 42 IAS officers shifted; Sibi Chakraborty named Secretary to CM

In a significant development, the Madhya Pradesh government on Monday evening reshuffled its bureaucratic setup, issuing transfer and posting orders for 42 IAS officers.

Commissioner of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, Sibi Chakkravarthy (IAS:2008:MP), has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister, replacing Bharat Yadav (IAS:2008:MP). Chakkravarthy will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner, Urban Administration and Development.

Bharat Yadav has been reassigned as the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC).

The reshuffle includes the transfer of collectors in 12 districts, marking a significant realignment of administrative roles across the state.
