Swapnil S Patil (IRS-IT:2011), presently serving as Private Secretary to Minister of State for Rural Development Kamlesh Paswan at the Deputy Secretary level, has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (20.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate his role from Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary level) to Private Secretary (Director level) within the same minister’s office.
The order, effective from the date he assumed the charge of the re-designated post, specifies that this re-designation is valid up to 09.08.2027 or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister, or until Swapnil S Patil concludes her role as Private Secretary to the Minister, or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
It is noteworthy that Swapnil S Patil embarked on his central deputation tenure on August 10, 2022.
