The post of Prashant Kumar Jha (IRS-C&CE:2008) as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) (Deputy Secretary level) to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science and Technology, has been re-designated as OSD (Director level). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Competent Authority has approved re-designation of the post of Jha as Director with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post and for a period up to 25.09.2023 (i.e. for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
