MoIB reshuffles 37 IIS officers in major bureaucratic move

In a major bureaucratic move, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on Monday (09.06.2025) ordered the transfer and posting of 37 officers of the Indian Information Service (IIS) Group ‘A’. The reshuffle, aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and strengthening media operations across the country, affects key positions in the Press Information Bureau (PIB), All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan News (DD News), Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), and Directorate of Publicity and Distribution (DPD)

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;

1. Rajinder Chaudhary, ADG (M&C), PIB, Vijayawada, has been transferred and posted as ADG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi.
2. Sanjay Roy, on repatriation from central deputation as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, New Delhi, has been posted as ADG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi, with additional charge of PIB Bhopal and PIB Raipur.
3. Prashant Pathrabe, ADG (M&C), PIB, Bhopal, with additional charge of PIB, Raipur, has been transferred and posted as ADG (M&C), PIB, Ahmedabad, with additional charge of ADG (News), RNU: AIR, Ahmedabad.
4. Pritam Singh, Director (M&C), PIB, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Director (M&C), PIB, Chandigarh (on strength of CBC, RO Chandigarh) with additional charge of RO, CBFC, Delhi at Chandigarh.
5. Manoj Kumar Verma, Director, CBC, RO, Lucknow, with additional charge of PIB, Lucknow and PIB, Dehradun, has been posted as Director, CBC, New Delhi.
6. Dheep Joy Mampilly, Director (M&C), PIB, Chandigarh (on strength of CBC, RO, Chandigarh) with additional charge of RO, CBFC, Delhi at Chandigarh, has been posted as Director, NMW, New Delhi (on strength of CBC, New Delhi).
7. Ratnakar Pamula, Director, CBC, RO, Vijayawada, has been posted as Director (M&C), PIB, Vijayawada, with additional charge of CBC, RO, Vijayawada.
8. Vivek Kumar Gaur, Director (News), NSD: AIR, New Delhi, has been posted as Director, CBC, RO, Lucknow with additional charge of PIB, Lucknow, PIB, Dehradun and PIB, Varanasi.
9. Dhanya Sanal, Director (M&C), PIB, New Delhi, has been posted as Director (M&C), PIB, Kochi, with additional charge of AIR, Ernakulam.
