Senior IPS officer Mohd Taj Hassan (IPS:1987:AGMUT) was on Saturday appointed as Director General of Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for a tenure up to his superannuation on December 31, 2023. He was serving as Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in Delhi.
