Modi govt appoints three new Expert Members in NGT

The Modi government on Tuesday (28.12.2021) appointed three new Expert Members in the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

They are;

1. Dr A Senthil Vel, Prof and Dean (Fisheries), Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Science University
2. Dr Vijay Kulkarni, Retired Executive Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer, Shapoorji Pallonji Infrastructure
   Capital Company Pvt. Ltd.
3. Dr Afroz Ahmad, Retired Member (Environment & Rehabilitation), Narmada Control Authority.
