The Modi government on Friday (03.09.2021) appointed three Indian Revenue Service officers as the members of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).
They are ;
- D P Nagendra Kumar (IRS-C&IT:1985)
- Balesh Kumar (IRS-C&IT:1987)
- Rajiv Talwar (IRS-C&IT:1988)
While D P Nagendra Kumar is posted as the Principal Chief Commissioner, CGST, Bengaluru, Balesh Kumar is serving as the Principal Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi. Rajiv Talwar is posted as the Chief Commissioner, Nhava Sheva, Customs Zone-II, Mumbai.
