Modi govt announces empanelment of 09 IAS officers for Secretary or equivalent-level posts in GoI

The Modi government announced empanelment of 09 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officials belonging to 1988, 1989 and 1990 batches for their appointments as Secretary in the Government of India.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the empanelment list on May 26.

Officers empanelled as Secretary or Secretary Equivalent are as follows :

1. Rajiv Jalota (IAS:1988:MH)
2. Amrit Lal Meena (IAS:1989:BH)
3. Niten Chandra (IAS:1990:OR)
4. Sanjeev Chopra (IAS:1990:OR)
5. Subrata Gupta (IAS:1990:WB)

Officers empanelled as Secretary Equivalent are as follows :

1. Ravneet Kaur (IAS:1988:PB)
2. Iqbal Singh Chahal (IAS:1989:MH)
3. Ashish Upadhyaya (IAS:1989:MP)
4. Gudey Srinivas (IAS:1990:OR)
