Manish Kumar Gupta (IAS:1991:AGMUT) was on Tuesday (28.09.2021) assigned additional charge of Vice-Chairman, Delhi Development Authority (DDA). Presently, he is Principal Commissioner Land Management, DDA.
The post fell vacant after incumbent Anurag Jain (IAS:1989:MP) was recently transferred as Secretary of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He took charge as DDA Vice-Chairman in June last year.
The next two months are important as the land-owning agency will be holding public consultations to finalise the Master Plan of Delhi-2041. The DDA plans to finalise the MPD-2041 by the end of this year.
