Senior diplomat Manish Gupta (IFS: 1998) was on Friday (October 24, 2025) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Ireland. Presently, he is serving as High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Ghana and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said ” Shri Manish Gupta (IFS: 1998), presently High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Ghana, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Ireland”.
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
