Senior IPS officer P Doungel (IPS:1987:MN) was on Monday (13.12.2021) given additional charge of Director General of Police (DGP), Manipur and Head of Police Force with immediate and until further orders. Presently, he is serving as the DG, Prisons.
Notably, Doungel’s predecessor L M Khaute (IPS:1985:MN) on Friday took voluntary retirement from the services.
